Introducing… Marq Strange
Hello, meet Marq Strange.
Downtown started as a vision in my head. . The vision was the streets of downtown los angeles.. I would see visions of the city in its darkest hours of the night.. I saw the street lights and the people on the streets and the cars driving. At one point during my journey to the discovery to downtown I could smell the smoke from all the models smoking after thier shows had ended.. There were also lots of taxis.. so many in fact the streets looked more like new york than LA.. getting a taxi was as easy as whistling so i did and the cab that picked me up to continue on my journey was playing the infamous record “Downtown” by Petula Clark.. at that moment combined with the power of the universe i started to hear the instruments play as we drove.. It took over 6 months to complete my journey and the outcome will be one of the most classic pop records of all time. “Downtown” by Marq Strange.
